Our research is set for exploring new aspects of quantum mixtures. We are, in particular, interested in quantum mixtures consisting of two atomic species with large disparity in their masses and statistics. By bringing the two species together, we hope to open up new frontiers of quantum gases. We are currently building a new apparatus to produce ultracold mixtures of lithium and cesium. In the mean time, we are also developing new technologies to probe the mixture. We plan to use the mixture to simulate disordered many-body system and study localization effects from both static and dynamic disorder. We are also designing new generation experiment to study quantum few-body problems.
