  Research Interests and achievement
Updated on September 3, 2006 

1. Developing slow atomic beam of thallium using laser cooling, for testing symmetry breaking in fundamental physics, such as: Time-reversal violation, and parity violation.

2. Ultra-cold dilute potassium and rubidium mixture. A double species MOT were built for study inter-species atomic cold collision. These research can lead to efficient formation of ultra-cold dipolar molecule of KRb in the future.

3. High precision laser spectroscopy of simple atomic system with optical frequency comb. Currently, we are focusing on atomic lithium. The absolute frequency of transition can reach only few hundreds kHz. This work is collaborated with Prof. J.T. Shy.
